Every year, I promise myself that I will get my list down to ten books. And every year, I goof up and end up with more than ten books. Forgive me, but here are my favorite 13 books that I read this year. Please note that the age categories below are superficial. These are books for readers of all ages. 🙂

  1. Great list, Ricki!

    I always enjoy Gratz’s novels, so I really need to get to Refugee – I think I have it waiting on my audio backlog. And I keep seeing Ghost on everyone’s Best of lists so I really want to read that one, too.

    I still need to make my own list (this week, I hope), but I know that The Hate U Give and American Street will both be on it – both such moving, powerful books.

    Hope that 2018 brings more amazing books!
